Q. What is Pony Up for Kids?

Pony Up for Kids is a 2-day online giving event hosted by The Partnership Plan (TPP) supporting Stillwater Area Public Schools.  We appreciate everyone's support for this online fundraiser and are excited to host it again this year with a focus on Stillwater School District's Mental Health Initiative.  


Q. Where does the money from Pony Up for Kids go?

All funds raised through Pony Up for Kids goes directly to TPP, the educational foundation for the Stillwater Public Schools, which includes all elementary, middle and high schools in the district.  Monies from this campaign will go into unrestricted funds and will be used to fulfill the mission of TPP, to connect the community and its resources to Stillwater Area Public Schools to support exceptional learning experiences for students.  Over the last 34 years, TPP has disbursed over $6 million and impacted the educational experiences for thousands of St. Croix Valley students. It funds academic enrichment by giving grants to support specific programs that are evaluated and approved by TPP’s Board of Directors. The Partnership Plan serves District 834 and its students exclusively. It is an independent, 501(c)(3), nonprofit, tax-exempt organization.


Q. When is Pony Up for Kids?

Pony Up for Kids is from 12:00AM on October 11th, to 11:59PM on October 12th, 2023.  


Q. Who can donate?

Anyone may donate. Donations through the Pony Up for Kids online portal will go directly to The Partnership Plan, the educational foundation for Stillwater Area Public Schools. All donations are tax-deductible and cannot be refunded. Contributions may be made via credit and debit card. Donations will be received and receipted by GiveGab.


Q. Do I have to donate through the GiveGab online portal?

No.  While we prefer that you donate in the GiveGab online portal, if you would feel more comfortable mailing a check to The Partnership Plan, you can certainly do that.  Checks should be made out to The Partnership Plan and can be mailed to: 1875 Greeley Street South, Stillwater, MN, 55082.  



Q. What is GiveGab?

GiveGab is a nonprofit giving platform that helps nonprofits to raise money, engage donors and manage volunteers quickly and efficiently. GiveGab offers a full portfolio of simple and easy-to-use products that allow organizations to function in a more streamlined manner.


Q. How much of my donation goes to the campaign?

GiveGab retains a 4% campaign management fee from all donations. Credit Card processing fees are an additional 2.5% + $0.30 for all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). You are given the option to cover the fees and if you choose this option, 100% of your online charitable gift will go to the receiving organization. All donations are final and cannot be refunded. Any donations processed outside of Pony Up for Kids donation period, through GiveGab.com, or subsequent recurring donations are subject to transaction fees outlined on the GiveGab.com pricing page: http://info.givegab.com/pricing.


Q. Who will receive my contact information?

Only The Partnership Plan will have access to your name and email address. This information is used solely to send thank you messages, provide the option to receive future notifications, and notify you of future activities.


Q. Do I need to create an account with GiveGab?

No. You do not need to create an account to make a donation. The benefits of creating an account include having your tax receipts collected in one location, being able to track your donations, follow the charities you support, and engage in future volunteering and donations. Your tax receipt is emailed immediately upon processing your donation. To claim a donation as a deduction on U.S. taxes, you should retain the donation receipt as an official record.


Q. Can I make donations via a mobile device?

Yes! Simply visit https://www.ponyupforkids.org on your mobile device.


Q. Can I pre-schedule a donation for Pony Up for Kids?

You cannot pre-schedule your Pony Up for Kids gift, but you may make a donation to a The Partnership Plan before or after the Pony Up for Kids. In order for your donation to be counted towards prize incentives awarded on Pony Up for Kids it must be made between 12:00AM on October 11th and 11:59PM on October 12th, 2023.
